autumn's thanksgiving project...

yesterday, little a and i worked on her thanksgiving project...the instructions...decorate a felt piece with all that she is thankful for.  haha...the first two were tom and jerry and number three was turtily (her little stuffed turtle that experiences everything she does).  with a little prodding, she eventually added her family.  i thought it was cute that she added the sky, grass, acorns, and the botanical gardens...that's our little sticks & rocks nature girl.

after a few false starts...we finally we settled on paper drawings sewn to the felt. we added rainbow frames and sparklies to enhance her charming drawings...

this morning it was like herding cats trying to get her to pose with her project.  hmmm...age four is proving a little more interesting than three.  i caught a few blurry ones with her laughing after one of her goofy poses...

the best part of her project?  how proud she was to bring her work to school...she had it clutched in her sweet little hands as she left this morning...

in the yellow tray today?  another ck project in colors that remind me of an ice cream shoppe.
